① Sachi was scheduled to receive the chemotherapy today on August 30th, but she could not because her white blood cell count was too low. A week later, another blood test will be done, and if the criteria are cleared, the chemo will be given next Monday as well as the echocardiographic examination. Please pray that she will be able to receive the treatment next week.

When treatment is delayed, not only are our family's schedules forced to change, but mental battles and conflicts with anxieties and worries become more intense. Please pray that the Lord will protect Sachi's heart and above all, that the Lord will completely heal her from this illness.

② Due to the suspension of the treatment for one week, there is a possibility that Sachi will not be able to attend Lior's birthday party (scheduled for September 10th). We plan to invite not only Liro's Christian friends but also non-Christian friends from school, so we hope it will be an opportunity to share God's love with them, but if Sachi cannot attend, the preparations will be difficult.

Sachi and I are still unable to speak the language well enough, so a local student was willing to help us, but she hasn't been well lately and we don't know if she'll be able to be present at the party.

Last year Lior was sad because Sachi couldn't attend his birthday party because she was on strong chemotherapy. He's been looking forward to this year's party, thinking, "This year, my mom will be able to come too!"

We see it as more than just a party, but a chance to connect with non-Christian friends and parents. Please pray that the Lord will enable us to host a good birthday party for the kids.

Thank you for standing with us in prayers. I will update again sometime soon on what Jesus has been doing in and through us recently.

① サチが今日8月30日抗がん剤の予定でしたが、白血球の値が低すぎてできませんでした。一週間後にまた血液検査して、基準をクリアすると月曜日に、心エコー検査と併せて、抗がん剤治療となります。ぜひ、抗がん剤ができるようにお祈りよろしくお願いします。

治療が滞ると、色々スケジュール変更を強いられるだけではなく、いろんな不安や心配との精神的な戦いや葛藤も激しくなります。主がサチの心を守ってくださり、何よりもこの病気から完全に癒してくださるようお祈りよろしくお願いします。

② 抗がん剤治療が一週間延びることで、理央の誕生日パーティー（9月10日予定）にサチが出れない可能性があります。学校のノンクリスチャンの友だちも招待する予定で、神さまの愛を分かち合う機会となればと思っていますが、サチが参加できないとなると、準備等が大変になります。

僕ら夫婦はまだまだ言葉が十分できないので、現地の学生が助けてくれる予定でしたが、体調を崩してしまい、パーティー当日に来れるかわかりません。

昨年の誕生日パーティーは、サチは強い抗がん剤の最中で参加できず、理央が大変がっかりしていました。「今年こそはママも来れる！」と思って楽しみにしています。ただのパーティーではなく、ノンクリスチャンの友だちや保護者とつながるチャンスと捉えています。ぜひ無事に誕生日パーティーができるようお祈りお願いします。

いつもお祈りで支えてくださりありがとうございます。イエスさまが私たちの中で、また私たちを通して、ここ最近何をなさっておられるのか、近々またお分かちしたりと思っています。
